FICX is once again collaborating on-site with Giffoni Film Festival after the break forced by the pandemic, when the collaboration was maintained virtually through the Giffoni Hub.
This event, dedicated exclusively to the youngest spectators, held its 52nd edition between 21 and 30 July 2022 and three young people from Gijón had the opportunity to be part of its international jury: Guillermo Alba in the 'Generator +16' section and Clara Vaquero and Maya Gutiérrez in the 'Generator +18' section.
The three of them travelled to Giffoni where they not only participated as international jurors in the corresponding categories but also had the opportunity to meet young cinephiles from all over the world, attend premieres and meet international stars such as Gary Oldman and Richard Madden.
In short, to live the "Giffoni Experience" as dozens of young people from Gijón have been doing for more than 20 years.
