The programme will be part of the framework of activities for professionals FICX Pro, previously called FICX Industry Days, which in its fourth edition will explore new formats of activities aimed at providing spaces for exchange between professionals in order to promote the circulation of content and the generation of new synergies.
FICX Pro | LAB will take place from November 23rd to 26th at the Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto.
Aimed at young Asturian filmmakers
FICX Pro | LAB is aimed at young authors with a project under development, who will be able to present their work to professionals in the sector and receive individual advice to develop their projects successfully.

Selection criteria and awards
The selection criteria will assess the originality and/or artistic and technical quality of the works, as well as their viability and their link to Asturias.
The Film School of the Community of Madrid (ECAM) will award the OpenECAM Prize which offers the recording and/or editing of the winning work. In addition, Asturias Paraíso Natural Film Commission will grant 1000 Euros for the realization of one of the selected projects.
The Gijón/Xixón International Film Festival announces FICX Pro | LAB, an initiative to promote young talent, the development of works with artistic value and the stimulation of creativity within the Asturian audiovisual sector.
