For several years now, the programme promoted by the Festival has not been limited to the Festival week, but extends all year round. Thus, FICXPlus includes screenings in Gijón and collaborations with a number of entities, as well as presentations, meetings and other complementary activities.

Being aware of the importance of exploring the new ways that digital tools bring for the diffusion of audiovisual work, our most recent action has been to focus on offering online contents, selected by the FICX and available beyond the dates of the Festival.
